History & Info Corner

This owl is part
of the live display from the BLM's Birds of Prey. Kids and adults
alike are fascinated by watching the owl eat breakfast, a snack,
lunch, a few snacks, dinner, well you get it.....
Nick Peterson from
the Herrett Museum has a variety of snakes including a large Python
that the kids can touch.
The Hagerman Fossil
Beds and the Hagerman and Jerome History Museums also have interesting
displays. Learn about the valley's ancient and recent histories!
Visit with several
authors who have written historical books on the area, a kid's
book about nature and an account of time served in the Peace Corps.
Kid's Corner

The Kid's Corner has several activities
for the budding artist. Art projects include animal masks or bookmarks
the child can make and take. A large wildlife mural is a group
effort where the kids learn to mix paint and work with others.
Watch
the Young Artists as they draw and paint during the weekend. Support
them as their work is also for sale.
"For Kid's Only" is back.
This art booth has works donated by the festival artists. Work
is resonably priced with the young buyer in mind. Send your child
to browse and purchase that special piece of artwork, but remember
it's Kids ONLY!
